Missing teen Samantha and 80-year-old Katherine are both found well

Police had grown increasingly concerned for the welfare of 17-year-old Samantha Chikowore, who had last been seen at her house in Hemel Hempstead on September 24.

She was found safe late yesterday evening in Luton and the police have thanked the media and public for their assistance.

Officers also worked to trace an 80-year-old woman who went missing from Kings Langley after 1pm yesterday afternoon.

Katherine Williams, who suffers from dementia and was heading to Watford Junction to get a bus to Victoria and then home to Dover, was also found safe and well during the night.
