Man, 82, discovered dead in canal
An 82 year old man was discovered dead in the Grand Union Canal at Winkwell on Saturday afternoon.
The man, who had been reported missing from his Chaulden home earlier that day, was pronounced dead at the scene just after midday.
Herts Police spokesman Sarah Spence said: “The death is being treated as non-suspicious but unexplained at this time.”
She said the case will be passed on to the coroner for Herts.
