M1 northbound now open after serious collision
The M1 northbound has now been reopened by police following a serious accident this morning.
A car overturned on the northbound carriageway near Bricket Wood just before 7am.
Police, fire and ambulance crews were called to the aid of the woman driver.
The road was closed from J6, which caused considerable rush hour congestion on surrounding routes.
