LA3 action group to hold its first AGM

A residents’ action group opposed to one of the key housing developments earmarked inDacorum’s core strategy are to hold their first AGM next weekend.

The West HemelAction Group WHAG will host the public meet on Sunday, September 7 at 7pm in Chaulden Infants School.

The meeting will update residents on the current those living near the proposed LA3 plot of the planned development as well as discuss the impending Dacorum Borough Council consultation process on the plans, which could see 900 homes built at the site between Chaulden and Pouchen End Lane.

Group chairman Lee Royal said: “We continue to work to keep residents informed of plans to develop a large area of Green Belt land, which will extend the reaches of Hemel Hempstead and with it bring with it disruption and chaos in the medium term and the future.”
