Images of stolen jewellery released by police in bid to catch burglar who took them

Images of jewellery stolen during a burglary have been released by the police in an effort to find them and catch the person who took them.

A gold starfish bracelet, flower tiara and gold Rotary watch (pictured), a gold chain owl necklace and cash were taken during the break-in.

The thief forced his way through a window to get into the home in Greenway, Berkhamsted, at some point between Friday, August 22, and Monday, August 25.

Assistant investigator Lisa Walsh said: “The items stolen are quite distinctive and hold a lot of sentimental value for the victims.

“I would like to hear from anyone who has been offered them for sale, or knows of their whereabouts; they should to contact me straight away.

“Equally, I would like to hear from anyone who may have seen anyone or anything unusual or suspicious in the area of the burglary between the Friday and Monday.”
