Hospice to feature on popular national radio programme

Today presenter Justin Webb visited the Berkhamsted-based charity last week to speak to its Director Dr Ros Taylorin her role as Hospice UK’s National Director for Hospice Care, as well as to patients, staff and volunteers.

Dr Taylor said: “We had a fabulous few hours with Justin and his team and were delighted to welcome them to the Hospice to share some surprising facts and some very brave stories.

“We hope the feature will highlight the holistic care that hospices provide, especially support for families, how hospices are not only places for dying but for living well, the need for hospital culture to change and how hospices can help and how the role of hospices will become more important in the future as the needs of the UK’s ageing population increase.”
