‘Have a cycle, improve your health and help get cars off the road!’ All invited to BikeFest

An event called BikeFest will be held to encourage people to cycle instead of driving on a more regular basis.

Children and adults are invited to dig out their bicycles and head to Canal Fields, Berkhamsted, on Sunday to rediscover their riding skills.

The event will run from 2pm to 4.30pm and is organised by Transition town Berkhamsted.

Leader John Bell said: “Bikefest is there partly to encourage people to get out on their bikes and reduce the number of cars we have got on the road.

“This would reduce the parking issues we have got in the town and improve people’s health.”
