Get that glowing feeling and sign up for hospice's fundraising Midnight Walk
Neon is the theme for the Berkhamsted charity’s 10th year, and walkers on the five or 10-mile route around Hemel will enjoy a party atmosphere as they step into new UV pods to pop neon bubbles and glow under UV lighting.
There will also be a special reflective zone for walkers to pause and remember loved ones.

Hide AdA decade ago, 700 people joined the hospice for its first ever Midnight Walk.
Since then, 8,298 others have walked 78,780 miles at night to raise over £1 million for St Francis, which relies on voluntary donations for more than 80 per cent of its £4.8 million annual running costs.
Everyone, including past, present and new walkers, is invited to join in this year’s walk to celebrate 10 years of night-time walking, at 10pm on Saturday, June 25.
The party kicks off at 9pm at Hemel Hempstead School when registration opens before walkers embark on their chosen route at 10pm.

Event organiser Nicky Maxwell-Braithwaite said: “This year is a real milestone for us and we’d love local people to join our 10th anniversary year party. This year is all about the neon glow, so dig out your bright skirts, legwarmers, tees and tutus and celebrate with us.”
