Sarah, who lives in Berkhamsted, has been totally blind since birth and will be representing England at the competition.
Blind bowlers get no funding to compete in the New Zealand event, but Sarah has so far managed to raise half the amount she needs to participate.
She has already received support from the community including a cheque for £200 from the Rotary Club of Berkhamsted.
