From Cyprus to Herts, lost again – then found!
Karen Jarvis, 48, of Windsor Road, Pitstone, rescued black and white moggy Dave along with his ‘stepsister’ Fluffy from the Mediterranean isle in 2013 after falling in love with them on holiday.
But when the two-year-old cat went missing in June Karen’s posters, leaflets, Facebook posts and daily searches proved futile.

IT project manager Karen, who lives with husband Adrian, said: “The reunion was really emotional – Dave was purring away.
“I had day-dreamed about that moment for months, and I never gave up hope.
“It just shows that microchipping and keeping the contact details up to date is so important.”

She said: “But I’ll guess we’ll never know what he really got up to!”
> Karen’s neighbour Mary Humprhis is still searching for her tabby cat Tia, who went missing four days after Dave back in June. She is pictured above – if anyone has any information, please call Mary on 07814 566935.
