Former Strictly star and GMTV presenter’s seasonal switch-on at care home
Hemel Hempstead’s Water Mill House care home welcomed a well-known TV personality to switch on its Christmas lights last week.
Presenter Fiona Phillips – well known for her stint on long-running breakfast show GMTV and for appearing on the third series of Strictly Come Dancing – is a regular visitor and keen supporter of the Rose Lane facility.
Part of the Carebase network, the home invited Fiona, its residents and guests from the community to sing Christmas carols, enjoy mulled wine and mince pies and even meet real reindeer at the event.
