The Fitness Society in Berkhamsted has launched a food drive for charity.

Members of the Fitness Society in Berkhamsted High Street will add extra tins or dried food packets into their weekly shop and bring it along to their next workout.

The items will then be donated to the foodbank, which provides food and support for Dacorum people in crisis, once a month.

Gym manager Ben Stacey said: “Our members realise that they are lucky to be able to afford luxuries like gym membership and supporting the Dacorum Foodbank is an easy way for them to help people in their own area, who aren’t as fortunate as they are.”

The Fitness Society also supports Billy’s Wish.
