Herts Police will be out in the town centres and outside nightclubs across Dacorum over the festive period, as part of their rape and sexual assault prevention campaign.

The main aim of proactive patrols is to get the message directly across to revellers that sex without consent is rape.

Pre-Christmas activity has already included speaking to taxi companies, licensees and door staff to raise awareness about looking out for, and taking care of, people who may be vulnerable because they have had too much to drink.
