This year is set to be so jam-packed with box office hits you’ll be planning your entire 2015 around Empire’s cinema listings.

With blockbusters including the much-anticipated Fifty Shades of Grey flick, a brand new Bond movie and the latest in the Star Wars franchise to whet your appetite, the Jarman Park multiplex has provided a month-by-month guide of the best cinematic offerings hitting the big screen.

January sees the release of Into the Woods – a modern twist on the Brothers Grimm fairy tales starring Meryl Streep, Johnny Depp and brit James Corden, while Valentine’s Day in February is the perfect date for the raunchy adaptation of Fifty Shades.

In March, cinema-goers can watch the latest take on classic tale Cinderella – starring former Tring Park School protege Lily James in the title role.

The Avengers reassemble in April for the next instalment of the superhero spectacle, Age of Ultron.

May’s best offering is comedic sequel Pitch Perfect 2, while June and July revive age-old classic film series’ with Jurassic World and Terminator: Genisys.

A scary one for the kids in August is the first Goosebumps movie, based on the spooky TV series, and in September Suffragette dramatises the fight for women’s rights with Meryl Streep again topping the bill.

James Bond: Spectre will have fans of the franchise enthralled in October, and November sees the Hunger Games film series come to an end with Mockingjay Part II.

It seems an age away but just a week before Christmas 2015, The Force Awakens as Star Wars: Episode VII comes to a galaxy very, very near.
