Enjoy a great day's golf in support of hospice

The Hospice of St Francis is calling on keen golfers to fill the last four team places at its sixth annual Charity Golf Day at Berkhamsted Golf Club on Friday, April 15.

The day starts with an 18-hole team stableford competition, followed in the evening by a dinner, auction, raffle and prizegiving.

Co-ordinator Gordon Bridges said: “Berkhamsted Golf Club offers a great test of golf and if you enjoy a natural and challenging course, you’ll love this one. It has no man-made hazards and provides a unique challenge that has seen some of the country’s best golfers put themselves to the test on the amateur circuit before they turned professional.

The entry fee is £95 per head for non-members of Berkhamsted Golf Club and £60 per head for members, inclusive of dinner and prizes.
