Driver hospitalised after car flips onto its roof

Police were called to Drummond Ride in Tring at 7.45am to reports of a black Vauxhall Astra on its roof.

Officers believe that the motorist may have become ill at the wheel of the car.

Paramedics arrived and treated the driver, a man in his 40s, at the scene before he was taken to Watford General Hospital as a precaution.

His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.

The vehicle has been recovered and police officers left the scene at 10.50am.
