Don't get tricked by '˜fire brigade' scam artist

Businesses are being warned once again about a scam artist calling himself '˜Peter Foster' who claims to be selling advertising space on behalf of the county's fire brigade.

This is believed to be the same man who used the same scam last year under the name ‘Peter Griffiths’.

Hertfordshire County Council’s fire and rescue service does not cold call businesses or authorise third party companies to do so on their behalf looking to sell advertising or sponsorship.
