Did teenage hoodies vandalise cars?

Two cars were vandalised with spray paint on the street outside a sports centre yesterday afternoon (Thursday, October 15).

Police officers were called to Douglas Gardens, near to Berkhamsted Sportspace, at 2.50pm.

They discovered that a white Ford KA and a silver Fiat had been damaged by spray paint.

Four teenage boys wearing black hooded jumpers were seen in the area at the time.

Officers are now making enquiries in the town.

A spokesman for Herts Police said that the member of the public who reported the incident ‘did not see the suspects’ faces’ as they were wearing ‘hoodies’.

No arrests have been made at this stage but the incident has been logged as criminal damage.
