The council’s approach to tenant involvement has been warded the Pro Landlord accreditation from Tpas, the leading experts for tenant engagement.

The team was praised for the wide range of involvement opportunities for its tenants and leaseholders, including focus groups, community events, surveys and a Youth Tenant Involvement group.

Elliott Brooks, assistant director for housing at Dacorum Borough Council, said: “We are passionate about tenant involvement, so for our approach to be recognised by Tpas is a great reward.

“To be the first social landlord to achieve this makes it even more special.”
