Two arrested after altercation between men allegedly armed with a hammer and crowbar took place in Hemel Hempstead

Detectives investigating an altercation in Hemel Hempstead are appealing for witnesses and information.
On Friday, May 7, at around 3.30pm, two men were involved in a physical altercation in Cattsdell.

Hide AdIt was reported that one of them was in possession of a crowbar, and the other man was allegedly armed with a hammer.
No one sustained any injuries. It is believed that both involved parties are known to each other.
Detective Constable Nina Garrard, who is investigating, said: “This incident happened in a busy residential street, at a time when lots of people would probably be on their way to school pick-ups and we believe that several people may have witnessed the altercation taking place.

Two people, a 19-year-old man from Rickmansworth and a 22-year-old man from Hemel Hempstead, were arrested on suspicion of affray. They have both been released on police bail with conditions.
