Police hunt three men after aggravated burglary in Hemel Hempstead

Police investigating an aggravated burglary in Hemel Hempstead are appealing for witnesses to come forward.

At around 7.30pm on Tuesday, January 26, three men gained access to a flat in Bayford Close and conducted a messy search before making off in a vehicle.

A spokesperson for Hertfordshire Police said: "It was reported that two of them were in possession of a knife.

"Officers immediately attended the scene along with the armed policing unit as a precaution.

"A search of the area was carried out but the offenders remain outstanding at this time.

"The offenders were described as wearing masks and it is believed they might have been travelling in a small red Honda.

"It is believed that this is an isolated incident."
