Police are investigating after a man was robbed of his bike near the train station in Berkhamsted High Street on Saturday, May 9.

Officers were called at around 12pm on Saturday and the Armed Response Unit also attended the scene to search for the suspect.

A spokesperson for Hertfordshire Police said: "It was reported that the victim had been approached by an unknown male in possession of a knife, who then took his bicycle.

"The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 6ft tall.

"The bicycle is described as an orange Carerra with a camouflage seat and a flat front tyre.

"Officers attended the scene, including the Armed Response Unit, to search for the suspect.

"Enquiries are continuing at this time to trace him."
