Man remains in hospital after alleged stabbing in Berkhamsted

Police are investigating after a man was assaulted in Berkhamsted High Street on Saturday night.
Officers were called at 11.57pm on Saturday, June 13, to reports of an assault, they attended the scene and found a man who had sustained an alleged stab wound to his abdomen.

Hide AdHe was taking to hospital and remains in a stable condition.


His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
The offenders have been described as three males wearing balaclavas, they are believed to have exited a vehicle, possibly a white Mercedes, before assaulting the victim.
Officers searched the area but they remain outstanding at this time.
Detective Inspector Nick Rega said: “I understand this news will be alarming to residents and I want to reassure you that we are doing all we can to trace those responsible.
