Hemel Hempstead man faces eight charges after four alleged break-ins
A man from Hemel Hempstead is set to appear in court in connection with four alleged break-ins that were reported in the Hertfordshire area.
Danny Grealey, aged 49, of Ebberns Road in Hemel Hempstead, is scheduled for a remand court hearing today.
Grealey is suspected of committing burglaries in Watford and Three Rivers, other charges relate to a linked police search.
Hertfordshire Constabulary formally charged Grealey with four counts of dwelling burglaries, possession of two offensive weapons in private, and being in possession of heroin and cocaine.

The police force recorded the suspected offences as taking place between November 25, 2025 and January 17, 2026.
Two of the alleged burglaries took place in Gallows Hill Lane in Abbots Langley, with the remaining two in Ash Close – also in Abbots Langley – and Fairview Drive in Watford.
Among the items reported as stolen were jewellery, sunglasses, cash, a kettle, and a microwave. During a search, which took place in a Hemel Hempstead house and is linked to the same investigation, police officers found heroin, cocaine, a zombie knife, and an extendable baton.
Hertfordshire Constabulary confirmed that the suspect is being held in custody until today’s hearing at Hatfield Remand Court.
Detective Sergeant Darren Machin, from Three Rivers’ Criminal Investigation Department (CID), said: “We are pleased to have secured charges on behalf of the victims in all four burglaries and await the outcome of today’s hearing. Burglary crime causes real harm to our communities, and we treat it with the utmost seriousness.”
