Created by mum of two Sally Spriggs, it’s a preview to a bigger yarn bombing project that will be unveiled in the town next week as part of Tring’s 700 Celebrations.

Baffled Rob Pullen took this snap in the town centre’s Church Square today (Monday).

He said: “A woolly bike, intricately carried out but no idea as to purpose! Caught my attention anyway.”

Do you know the owner of this bizarre bike?

Yarn bombing is a type of street art that brightens up people’s days with colourful displays of knitted or crocheted yarn.

From Saturday, Tring is embarking on two weeks of celebration to mark 700 years since the signing of the market charter.
