“So we’re delighted to announce that Chilfest WILL be returning in 2015.

“Staging Chilfest has always been about doing good for the local community and we’re delighted to announce that we have once again chosen Rennie Grove Hospice Care as our charity.

“It has yet to be decided whether Chilfest will be a 1 or 2 day event, But we can definitely confirm Saturday 11th July 2015.

“We’ll be posting more details about Chilfest 2015 in the coming weeks on this page and on our website, but please share this announcement with all your Facebook and non-Facebook friends and help us get the word out there.”

The first two-day Chilfest was held in 2013 and attracted the likes of Spandau Ballet crooner Tony Hadley.

This year’s event went on for three days and the biggest act was the Boomtown Rats, fronted by Sir Bob Geldof.

The event is organised by Steve Butcher, managing director of Universal Event Productions (UEP), and was first staged to mark the technical solutions firm’s 15th anniversary.
