Changes to Christmas bin collections

Details of changes to recycling collections across Dacorum over the festive period have been announced.

Here are details of the revised collection dates for wheelie bins across Dacorum.

Blue lidded wheelie bins will be collected earlier than usual:

Monday December 22 - now Saturday 20 (two days early).

Tuesday December 23 - now Monday 22 (one day earlier).

Wednesday December 24 - now Tuesday 23 (one day earlier).

Thursday December 25 - now Wednesday 24 (one day earlier).

Friday December 26 - now Saturday 27 (one day later).

Grey lidded bins will be collected as normal on Monday 29, Tuesday 30 and Wednesday 31 December however there will be some changes:

Thursday January 1 - now Friday 2 (one day later).

Friday January 2 - now Saturday 3 (one day later).

Waste collections will go back to the normal schedule from week beginning Monday January 5.

Green bin collections for garden waste are suspended between December and January.

Garden waste over this time can be left in the green bin for when collections restart in February, or they can be taken to a household waste and recycling centre at Eastman Way in Hemel Hempstead or Northbridge Road in Berkhamsted.
