If you love meeting new people as well as organising events and publicity, you could help by establishing and leading a fundraising group.

The Volunteer Centre Dacorum supports more than 470 other local groups to find the volunteers they need to keep vital services running.

During the last decade the volunteer centre has helped over 10,700 people of all ages, abilities and walks of life to become volunteers.

This role involves helping to recruit fundraising group members and then to work with them to organise and run successful events and activities within your local community.

The right volunteer will be friendly and confident with proven fundraising and leadership skills together with the ability to motivate others. Why not join a friendly team of volunteers and make the next 10 years even better?

Dacorum The Book Trade Charity

A mini bus driver is needed to take elderly and disabled residents from the charity’s home in Kings Langley on shopping trips and days out.

Shopping trips take place on Tuesdays between 10.30am and 1pm and day trips are on the second Monday of each month.

Mini bus experience is preferred and the volunteer should be between 25 and 80 years of age.

If you are good with people, have a clean driving license and a sense of humour, this charity would like to hear from you.

Do you love your iPad, tablet or lap top?

If you are enthusiastic about sharing your IT skills, this home grown charity would love to hear from you.

They’re not looking for people with advanced technical skills, but experienced users who would be able to pass on top tips about how to make the best of what new technology has to offer.
