Last year over 180 elderly and isolated people enjoyed lunch at the citadel on Waterhouse Street, or a meal delivered to their door by real life Christmas angels.

None of this can happen this year without the help of a team of volunteer drivers to deliver meals on wheels or pick up guests at around mid-day in time for their delicious lunch and then drop them home again at around 3.30pm.

If you can save the day for of needy people, the Salvation Army team would love to hear from you.
