Beanie hat-wearing robbers target convenience store in early hours break-in

A pair of robbers wearing beanie hats broke into a Tring convenience store and stole cigarettes overnight.

The offenders – both described as slim males – made off with ‘a considerable quantity’ of cigarette packets after breaking in to the Martin’s shop in the town’s High Street, through a side window.

The incident took place at around 2.35am this morning.

One of the duo was wearing a dark grey beanie hat and a light grey hooded top. His partner in crime is described as wearing a light blue beanie hat, a dark grey hooded top and blue jeans.

The pair left the shop through the same window and headed in the direction of Dolphin Square towards the Marks and Spencer car park.

The early hours break-in was yet another attack on Martin’s, which has been a repeat victim of this type of crime.
