A chance for budding actors to learn from professional at summer school

Budding actors can attend a week-long fun drama summer school in Berkhamsted, run by a professional actor.

The summer school, for students aged eight and over, takes place from Monday to Friday, August 15 to 19, at The Old Mill, on London Road.

The course is led by David Houston, who has been an actor for more than 22 years. David trained at The London Centre for Theatre Studies and has worked extensively in association with LAMDA and RADA.

The course, which is limited to 15 students, is described as a fun week of drama, production and performance where young people will learn about acting for theatre, stage and screen, acquire performance techniques, learn creative scriptwriting and develop confidence and communication skills while working towards a showcase performance at the end of the week.

It it open to beginners and experienced actors.

Lunch which will be available at low cost to all students.

The course costs £22 per day, with a discount for siblings.
