The Eat Out to Help Out scheme saw around 84,000 restaurants across the UK offer a 50 per cent off discount to diners throughout August. Now, some companies have pledged to keep the discount going after the scheme ends

These are some of the restaurant chains that will continue to offer a discount to hungry diners in September. The length of time each chain will continue to offer the discount can vary.
Harvester, which is owned by Mitchells & Butler, is extending the discount for an extra two weeks in September. The discount allows customers who get half price main meals until 9 September
Pizza Pilgrims specialises in all things pizza - from savoury numbers like nduja, eight cheese and puttanesca, to sweet ones like the nutella pizza ring, which is a ring of pizza stuffed with nutella, salted ricotta and served with ice cream
Toby Carvery is continuing to offer the 50 per cent discount, but it does not apply to alcoholic drinks. The deal means that an unlimited carvery meal will cost 3.65 GBP instead of 7.30 GBP
Stonehouse Pizza has a full separate menu for its pizzas alone, including offerings like classic margherita, signature pizzas like southern fried chicken and bacon, and calzones, like the mac and cheese pizza calzone
Bill’s has locations across the UK and has announced that it will be offering a bespoke menu for diners to choose from for the 50 per cent off discount. The menu includes offerings like crispy chicken and sesame dumplings and mushroom and truffle risotto
Pizza Hut restaurants will be doing two for one on main meals from Monday to Wednesday from 7 September. The deal will last until the end of September, but is only available to those who have signed up to their database, which you can do so on the chain’s website
All the dining establishments under the Q Hotels Group will be extending the Eat Out to Help Out discount, which includes venues like Oulton Hall in Yorkshire, The Queens in Leeds and Holland House in Bristol, as well as many more
All the businesses under the Signature Pub Group will continue to offer a discount throughout September - that includes the likes of a variety of venues across Scotland, like Cold Town House in Edinburgh, The Spiritualist in Glasgow, and Nox in Aberdeen
Tesco announced that its cafes would continue to offer 50 per cent off food in September, with no limits. It will also be available for dine in as well as takeaway
Drake & Morgan operates bars and restaurants in the likes of London, Manchester and Edinburgh, with The Refinery, The Commission and The Anthologist
In a twist on the scheme, Deliveroo will be offering customers of small and independent restaurants £5 off a £20 order delivered on a Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday in September, using specific discount codes for certain dates
