"I have worked locally around Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire for the past 20 years, and at Breakspear Park for the past six months.

"I really love the job satisfaction I get here.

“When I was presented with my 35-year anniversary award I was in total shock that I had been with Compass so long. I am very lucky that I truly love my job.”

Dina Mistry, marketing manager for Breakspear Park, said: “Richard is well liked and respected here at Breakspear Park, and is a real asset to the team. As his dishes are so popular, I send out a menu to all employees summarising what is on offer each week.

"Congratulations for reaching this milestone marker in your career Richard. Here’s to many more years of magnificent meals you magic up!”
