Dress up for spooky event
The atmospheric event takes place from 3.30 - 8pm on Sunday (October 30) and includes rides like the popular ghost train as well as spooky tours through the Old Town Hall followed by scary storytelling.
The Energy School of Dancing will perform a spooktacular flash mob under the Old Town Hall arches, while Spirit of the Old Town’s friendly ghosts will also make a special appearance.

Hide AdHartbeeps music group is organising a special Halloween Baby Rave on stage at 3.30pm, for babies, toddlers and preschoolers to enjoy some dancing, singing and fun.
Next up on the stage will be the fancy dress competition. All ages are welcome, judging times are as follows:
Under sevens 4.10-4.40pm
Eight to 11-year-olds 4.55-5.25pm
Twelve to 17 year olds 5.40-6.10pm
And over 18s, including groups, 6.25-6.55pm.
The event will end with a bang in Gadebridge Park at 7.30pm with a fabulous firework finale.
The storytelling sessions in the Old Town Hall are at 3.30pm, 4.15pm 5pm and 5.45pm. Tickets are £5 per child including a bloodcurdling juice and monstrous biscuit. Carers can attend for free (maximum two children).

Hide AdProfessional storyteller Vanessa Wolfe will conduct the hair raising ghost stories. The travel in terror will begin under the arches beneath the Old Town Hall, up the raggedy stairs to the Theatre of Doom. Once refreshed in the Cursed Cafe, the brave ghost hunters will be led to the Creepy Crypt for scary stories. Book story tickets in person or call 01442 228091.
