Latest figures show where Covid-19 vaccine uptake is highest and lowest in Dacorum

NHS England publishes weekly localised breakdown of coronavirus vaccinations administered every Thursday

More than two in five people in Dacorum have received their first dose of a Covid-19 vaccine, figures reveal.

NHS data shows 51,590 people had received a vaccine jab by March 14 – equating to 42 per cent of those aged 16 and over, according to the latest population estimates from the Office for National Statistics.

Official figures from NHS England now reveal how many people have been vaccinated in neighbourhoods across the country.

Of those vaccinated, 37,163 were aged 55 or over – 80 per cent of the age group.

It means 14,427 people aged between 16 and 54 have received a first dose of the vaccine.

The Government has pledged to offer vaccinations to everyone aged over 50 by the end of April.

The data also reveals variation in uptake between different areas across Dacorum.
