Here's a breakdown of how many people have received both doses of the vaccine in each area of Dacorum

Nearly a quarter of people aged 45 and over in Dacorum have received two doses of a Covid-19 vaccine, figures reveal.

NHS England publishes weekly localised breakdown of coronavirus vaccinations administered every Thursday.

NHS data shows 28,505 people had received both jabs by April 25 – 23 per cent of those aged 16 and over, based on the latest population estimates from the Office for National Statistics.

Of those to have received both jabs, 24,580 were aged 45 and over – 36 per cent of the age group.

It means 3,925 people aged between 16 and 44 have received both doses.

The figures also show 76,676 people in Dacorum have received at least one jab – 62 per cent of those aged 16 and over.

It comes as the Government announced an extra 60 million doses of the Pfizer/BioNTech coronavirus jab have been secured for a booster vaccination programme in the autumn.
