More than a third of people in Dacorum fully vaccinated against Covid-19

More than a third of people in Dacorum have received two doses of a Covid-19 vaccine, figures reveal.

NHS England publishes weekly localised breakdown of coronavirus vaccinations administered every Thursday.

NHS data shows 44,681 people had received both jabs by May 16 – 36 per cent of those aged 16 and over, based on the latest population estimates from the Office for National Statistics.

Of those to have received both jabs, 39,321 were aged 40 and over – 50 per cent of the age group.

It means 5,360 people aged between 16 and 39 have received both doses.

Across Dacorum, 69 per cent of those aged 16 and over have received their first jab.
