More than a quarter of people in Dacorum fully vaccinated against Covid-19

Here's a breakdown of how many people have received both doses of the vaccine in each area of Dacorum

More than a quarter of people in Dacorum have received two doses of a Covid-19 vaccine, figures reveal.

NHS England publishes weekly localised breakdown of coronavirus vaccinations administered every Thursday.

NHS data shows 33,644 people had received both jabs by May 2 – 27 per cent of those aged 16 and over, based on the latest population estimates from the Office for National Statistics.

Of those to have received both jabs, 28,920 were aged 45 and over – 42 per cent of the age group.

It means 4,724 people aged between 16 to 44 have received both doses.

Across England, more than a quarter of people aged 16 and over have received their second vaccine dose.

The NHS vaccine data also reveals variation in coverage for residents who had received at least one dose between different areas across Dacorum.

Across Dacorum, 65% of those aged 16 and over have had one jab.
