Here's how many vaccines have been administered in Hertfordshire and West Essex

New NHS data has revealed how many coronavirus vaccines have been given out in each part of the country.

NHS England publishes weekly localised breakdown of coronavirus vaccinations administered every Thursday.

As of February 7, Hertfordshire and West Essex Sustainability and Transformation Partnership (STP) had administered 286,673 - which includes the first and second dose.

The figures cover people vaccinated in the Hertfordshire and West Essex Integrated Care System area ­– a collaboration between local NHS services and councils aimed at improving health care.

Here's a breakdown of the vaccinations in Hertfordshire and West Essex:

> 100,095 people under the age of 70 had received their first dose

> 52,630 people aged 70 to 74 had received their first dose (79% of the age group)

> 46,172 people 75 to 79 had received their first dose (98.2%)

> 69,515 people aged 80 and over had received their first dose (91%)

> 3,162 people under the age of 70 had received their second dose

> 115 people aged 70 to 74 had received their second dose

> 286 people 75 to 79 had received their second dose

> 14,698 people aged 80 and over had received their second dose (19%)

Here's a breakdown of the vaccinations administered in the East of England:

> 463,676 people under the age of 70 had received their first dose

> 258,304 people aged 70 to 74 had received their first dose

> 232,460 people 75 to 79 had received their first dose

> 327,557 people aged 80 and over had received their first dose (91.5%)

> 10,275 people under the age of 70 had received their second dose

> 414 people aged 70 to 74 had received their second dose

> 701 people 75 to 79 had received their second dose

> 46,082 people aged 80 and over had received their second dose (12.9%).

In Dacorum, all GP surgeries have joined together to form a vaccination centre at Maxted Road, in Hemel Hempstead.

Residents will be contacted by text message or a phone call from their GP to book an appointment for their vaccine.

A pharmacy in Apsley has been added to the national booking system, residents can book to have their vaccine here, if they are in the priority groups and have received a letter inviting them to have their jab.

Alternatively, residents in Dacorum can also choose to receive their vaccine at Hemel Hempstead Hospital or the mass vaccination centre at Robertson House in Stevenage, through the national booking system.

Across England, around 6.5 million people aged 70 and over had received their first dose of the vaccine by the end of January, covering 86% of the age group – although the dosage figure includes a small number with registered addresses in Scotland or Wales.

The Government says the vaccine rollout is on track to meet a target of offering a first dose of the vaccine to everyone in the top four priority groups by the middle of February.
