Dacorum’s coronavirus hotspots according to Public Health England figures

Monday's figures show there have been a total of 1,047 confirmed cases of coronavirus in Dacorum. Read full story here.Here is a breakdown of where the confirmed cases were recorded up to October 14 - according to Public Health England:

- Boxmoor and Apsley - 12 cases

- Chaulden - 5 cases

- Gadebridge and Old Town - 0-2 cases

- Grovehill - 0-2 cases

- Hemel Hempstead Town - 8 cases

- Highfield - 9 cases

- Kings Langley - 5 cases

- Leverstock Green - 5 cases

- Maylands and Adeyfield - 0-2 cases

- Markyate, Flamstead and Gaddesden - 0-2 cases

- Nash Mills and Bennetts End - 16 cases

- Warners End - 5 cases

- Northchurch and Potten End - 6 cases

- Berkhamsted Town - 7 cases

- Berkhamsted West - 12 cases

- Berkhamsted South - 5 cases

- Tring West and Long Marston - 6 cases

- Tring East, Wiggington and Aldbury - 10 cases

- Tring West and Long Marston - 6 cases

- Tring North - 6 cases.

On Monday, October 12, in an effort to address the rising infection rates, the Prime Minister introduced the three-tier system for local lockdowns, which means different parts of England have been placed into different categories.

Areas in England will now be labelled as medium, high or very high risk, depending on their infection rates, which will inform the “appropriate interventions” needed in each area.

Dacorum and Hertfordshire have both been ranked in the "medium" tier.

Areas that fall into “medium” tier have to continue to abide by the 10pm curfew for bars, pubs and restaurants, and gatherings of more than six people are banned, apart from some settings such as funerals and weddings.
