Dacorum records another 30 positive Covid-19 tests

There have been another 30 new positive Covid-19 tests in Dacorum in the last 24 hours, today's data has revealed this evening.

The total for the borough is now 1,125, according to the latest figures from Public Health England.

There were 1,055 new cases in Hertfordshire, the total is now 10,066.

There has been no new deaths of a patient testing positive for Covid-19 in Dacorum. The total number of deaths since the start of the pandemic of people who had a positive test result for COVID-19 and died within 28 days of the first positive test in Dacorum is still 99.

There have been 810,467 lab-confirmed cases in the UK, rising by 21,242.

The number of Covid-19 associated UK deaths has been recorded as 44,347, rising by 189 - according to Public Health England.

Nationally, the death toll has been 'recalculated' by officials. The new count is based on a new definition of who has died from Covid-19.

Previously, people in England who died at any stage following a positive test, regardless of the cause of their death, were counted in the figures.

However, there is now a cut off point of 28 days from the first laboratory-confirmed positive COVID test.
