Covid-19 latest: here's how many new cases were recorded in Dacorum in the last 24 hours

Dacorum recorded three new positive Covid-19 cases today (May 25).
The total for the borough is now 8,641, according to the latest figures from Public Health England.

Hide AdThe incidence rate over the last 7 days has decreased from 14.2 per 100,000 to 13.6 per 100,000 population (the period represented is the 7 days ending May 20).
On May 18, the incidence rate was 13.6 per 100,000 population (the 7 days ending May 13).
In Hertfordshire, 29 new cases were recorded today - the total is now 77,444.

Hide AdAccording to Public Health England there was one confirmed COVID-19 patient in West Hertfordshire Hospitals NHS Trust - which manages hospitals in Watford, Hemel Hempstead and St Albans - on Tuesday, May 18, and no patients were on a mechanical ventilation bed.
There have been no new Covid-related deaths recorded in Dacorum, the total is 321, according to Public Health England (deaths within 28 days of positive test).
In the UK, the number of coronavirus cases has risen by 2,493 to 4,467,310. The number of deaths has risen by 15 to 127,739.
As of May 24, in the UK, 38,192,417 people had received the first dose of the vaccination for COVID-19, and 23,228,511 had received their second dose.

The new figures were recorded between 5pm on Sunday, May 23, and 5pm on Monday, May 24.
