Covid-19 latest Friday July 3: Only one new coronavirus case in Dacorum and five in Herts in last 24 hours

There have now been 493 cases of coronavirus in Dacorum, up 1 on the previous day's figures.

In wider Hertforfdshire there have been 4,069 case, up five on the 24 hours before.

Previous data shared by Public Health England relied solely on Pillar 1 (testing from Public Health England and NHS Hospital Trusts), but as of yesterday (Thursday) the information includes Pillar 2 (non-clinical and commercial testing).

It has seen a radical overhaul of how coronavirus infection data is presented across the country, with hundreds of new cases emerging in individual authorities.
