According to Public Health England there were five confirmed COVID-19 patients in West Hertfordshire Hospitals NHS Trust - which manages hospitals in Watford, Hemel Hempstead and St Albans - on Tuesday, June 8, and no patients were on a mechanical ventilation bed.

From today (June 16), Public Health England has changed the way it records deaths for local authorities. Some deaths previously reported in England have been reallocated to different resident local authorities.

Total deaths for England are unaffected, but some local authorities and regions will show inaccurate daily reported numbers today (June 16) because of this change.

The cumulative number of deaths in each affected local authority and region will also change.
