Coronavirus latest: Dacorum records over 20 new confirmed cases today

Dacorum has been placed in Tier 2 in the government's three tier system

There have been 23 new positive Covid-19 tests in Dacorum over the last 24 hours.

The total for the borough is now 1,922, according to the latest figures from Public Health England.

There have been 169 new cases today in Hertfordshire, the total is now 16,948.

Dacorum and Hertfordshire have been placed in Tier 2 in the government's three tier system. Read full story here.There has been one new recorded death in Dacorum today, the total is now 110. There have been 13 new deaths in Hertfordshire, the total is now 977, according to Public Health England.

Nationally, the number of coronavirus cases has risen by 16,022 and now stands at 1,589,301.

The latest R number is estimated at 0.9 to 1 with a daily infection growth rate range of -2% to 0% as of November 27.

The number of deaths has risen by 521 to 57,551.

The figures for the number of patients recovered from Covid-19 have not been released by Public Health England.

The new figures were recorded between 5pm on Wednesday, November 25, and 5pm on Thursday, November 26.
