Coronavirus latest: Dacorum records over 100 new cases today

As of today (28 December) Dacorum has recorded 112 new positive Covid-19.

The total for the borough is now 3,727, according to the latest figures from Public Health England.

There have been 1,124 new cases in Hertfordshire, the total is now 34,002.

There have been three new deaths recorded in Dacorum, the total is 127, and there have been six new deaths in Hertfordshire, the total is now 1,119 - according to Public Health England.

Nationally, the number of coronavirus cases has risen by 41,385 and now stands at 2,329,730.

The number of deaths has risen by 357 to 71,109.

The figures for the number of patients recovered from Covid-19 have not been released by Public Health England.

The new figures were recorded between 5pm on Saturday, December 26, and 5pm on Sunday, December 27.
