Coronavirus latest: Dacorum records more than 70 cases over the weekend

There were no deaths recorded and the total number of positive tests in the borough is now 1,817 after 73 cases were recorded over the weekend, according to the latest figures from Public Health England.

There have been 231 new cases today in Hertfordshire. The total is now 15,927.

Public Health England changed the way it records the location of people who have been tested for Covid-19 - counts of cases and deaths at sub-national level have been updated to reflect this.

The address given at the point of testing will now be used to determine a person's area of residence, rather than that on their electronic NHS record, with the change retrospectively applied to tests carried out from September 1.

There were no deaths in Dacorum - the total is still 108. There were six new deaths across Hertfordshire, the total is now 953, according to Public Health England.

There were 398 Covid-linked deaths in the UK today, bringing the total since the start of the pandemic to 55,024.
