Coronavirus latest: Dacorum records 51 new confirmed cases today

Hertfordshire records 513 new cases

There have been 51 new positive Covid-19 tests in Dacorum over the last 24 hours.

The total for the borough is now 2,570, according to the latest figures from Public Health England.

The incidence rate over the last 7 days has increased to 202.96 per 100,000 population as of December 11.

There have been 513 new cases in Hertfordshire, the total is now 22,954.

There have been no new deaths recorded in Dacorum, the total is 117, there have been six new deaths recorded in Hertfordshire, the total is now 1,047, according to Public Health England.

Nationally, the number of coronavirus cases has risen by 25,161 and now stands at 1,913,277.​

The number of deaths has risen by 612 to 65,520.

The figures for the number of patients recovered from Covid-19 have not been released by Public Health England.

The new figures were recorded between 5pm on Monday, December 14, and 5pm on Tuesday, December 15.

Dacorum is currently in tier two (high alert).
