Coronavirus latest: Dacorum records 32 new confirmed cases today

There have been 32 new positive Covid-19 tests in Dacorum over the last 24 hours.

The total for the borough is now 2,293, according to the latest figures from Public Health England.

The incidence rate over the last 7 days is 121.5 per 100,000 population (the period represented is the 7 days ending 5 days before December 10).

There have been 382 new cases today in Hertfordshire, the total is now 20,219.

There have been two new deaths recorded in Dacorum, the total is now 117, and seven new deaths have been recorded in Hertfordshire, the total is now 1,031, according to Public Health England.

Nationally, the number of coronavirus cases has risen by 20,964 and now stands at 1,787,783.​

The number of deaths has risen by 516 to 63,082.

The figures for the number of patients recovered from Covid-19 have not been released by Public Health England.

The new figures were recorded between 5pm on Tuesday, December 8, and 5pm on Wednesday, December 9.

The figures come from the Government website which is available for the public to view here.Dacorum is in tier two (high alert) along with the rest of Hertfordshire. This means that:

> You can go to the shops, gyms, libraries, places of worship and hairdressers/beauty services

> You can go out for a meal with members of your household

> You can meet with a group of up to six people outdoors

> You can now attend indoor and outdoor public events.
