Coronavirus latest: Dacorum records 31 new confirmed cases today

There have been 31 new positive Covid-19 tests in Dacorum over the last 24 hours.

The total for the borough is now 2,171, according to the latest figures from Public Health England.

The incidence rate over the last 7 days is 103.4 per 100,000 population (the period represented is the 7 days ending 5 days before December 7).

There have been 266 new cases today in Hertfordshire, the total is now 19,306.

There have been no new deaths recorded in Dacorum, the total is 115, and no new deaths have been recorded in Hertfordshire, the total is 1,016, according to Public Health England.

Nationally, the number of coronavirus cases has risen by 14,718 and now stands at 1,737,960.​

The number of deaths has risen by 189 to 61,434.

The figures for the number of patients recovered from Covid-19 have not been released by Public Health England.

The new figures were recorded between 5pm on Saturday, December 5, and 5pm on Sunday, December 6.

The figures come from the Government website which is available for the public to view here.Dacorum is in tier two (high alert) along with the rest of Hertfordshire. This means that:

> You can go to the shops, gyms, libraries, places of worship and hairdressers/beauty services

> You can go out for a meal with members of your household

> You can meet with a group of up to six people outdoors

> You can now attend indoor and outdoor public events.
